The best detail on this shirt is one you cannot see while someone is wearing it.

Inside the collar, Hummel printed “Siempre estuve a tu lado”, meaning “I was always by your side.” It is a line taken from one of the chants regularly sung by Betis supporters, giving the shirt a direct connection to the stands rather than simply adding another graphic.

The outside is unusual for Betis too.

Instead of the club’s normal green-and-white look, Hummel used electric blue and black vertical stripes, colours that Betis says have appeared regularly in its alternative kits. The stripes are not clean blocks: they use a rough brushstroke effect, with fluorescent green added to the crest, Hummel branding and other details.

The official shirt also uses Hummel’s TechPro fabric, designed for better breathability and comfort, while both the club crest and Hummel logo are finished with high-definition embroidery.

Betis revealed the shirt at the end of July 2026 and announced that its first outing would come against UD Almería on 1 August. The team won that preseason match 1–0.

So despite looking nothing like a traditional Betis shirt at first glance, the most personal detail is hidden inside it: a line taken straight from the supporters who follow the club everywhere.
