Neymar had only been a PSG player for a couple of weeks when he finally stepped onto the Parc des Princes pitch in club colours. Toulouse actually scored first, but Neymar equalised in the 31st minute and then set up Adrien Rabiot just four minutes later to send PSG into half-time ahead.

The second half turned into his personal highlight reel. Neymar was fouled for the penalty converted by Edinson Cavani, then supplied the corner from which Layvin Kurzawa scored an acrobatic finish. Even with PSG reduced to ten men after Marco Verratti’s red card, Neymar kept tearing Toulouse apart.

Then, in stoppage time, he finished the night himself: surrounded by defenders inside the area, Neymar somehow escaped the crowd and scored PSG’s sixth. His final numbers from his home debut were two goals, two assists and a penalty won.
