Neymar Scored Twice and Assisted Twice in His First Home Game for PSG

Neymar arrived in Paris in August 2017 as the most expensive footballer in history and PSG immediately built the start of the season around him. He scored and assisted on his competitive debut away at Guingamp, but his first appearance at the Parc des Princes came a week later against Toulouse.

That home debut was basically a full highlight reel. Neymar scored two goals and set up two more in a 6-2 win, including a brilliant solo goal late in the match. PSG’s own retrospective still singles that game out as the night he showed the Parc his full range of skills, goals and creativity.

He finished that first PSG season with 28 goals in 30 appearances and won the Ligue 1, Coupe de France and Coupe de la Ligue treble.
