The Screen Signed Shirt from Parma’s Last Major Trophy

This Parma away shirt comes from the final trophy-winning chapter of one of Italian football’s greatest cult teams.

Parma faced Juventus over two legs in the 2002 Coppa Italia final. They were losing the first match 2–0 in Turin when Hidetoshi Nakata scored in the 90th minute. Parma still lost the game, but that late away goal completely changed the final.

Back at the Tardini, Parma won the second leg 1–0. The aggregate score finished 2–2, meaning Nakata’s goal in Turin gave them the trophy on the away-goals rule. It was Parma’s third Coppa Italia and remains the club’s most recent major honour.

The squad still featured names such as Nakata, Fabio Cannavaro, Marco Di Vaio, Sébastien Frey and a young Adriano. It was the last flash of the Parma side that had spent the previous decade collecting trophies and challenging Italy’s biggest clubs.
