Juventus FC 2017/18 Home UCL - Dybala 10 (Large)

This shirt marked two new eras at Juventus at exactly the same time.

First came the badge. For 2017/18, Juventus replaced its traditional oval crest with the radically simplified “J” logo and this Adidas home shirt became the first in club history to wear it. Juventus said the new identity was built from three ideas: the black-and-white stripes, the shape of the Scudetto and the letter J. 

Then, only weeks before the season started, another famous Juventus symbol changed hands.

Paulo Dybala had worn 21 since arriving in Turin, but on 9 August 2017 Juventus announced that he would inherit number 10, a shirt previously associated with Omar Sívori, Michel Platini, Roberto Baggio and Alessandro Del Piero. 

Dybala wasted absolutely no time with it. He scored twice in his first competitive match as number 10, then recorded his first Juventus hat-trick against Genoa. A few weeks later he scored another three against Sassuolo, reaching his 50th Juventus goal on his 100th appearance. 

By May, Juventus had won a seventh straight Scudetto and fourth consecutive Coppa Italia. 

So 2017/18 was not just another black-and-white Juventus shirt: it was the first with the new badge and the first with Dybala 10 on the back.
