The Stripes of Danish Champions

This Aalborg BK 1998/99 home shirt was worn during a historic season for the Danish club. AaB finished first in the Danish Superliga and became national champions for only the second time in their history.

The team lost just three league matches all season. Striker Søren Frederiksen led the attack with 17 goals, while players such as Ståle Solbakken, Brian Priske and club legend Torben Boye helped bring the title back to Aalborg.

Made by Adidas, the shirt has the red-and-white stripes that have long defined AaB, together with the memorable Matilde sponsor and a classic long-sleeved design. This original kids’ version also carries number 11 on the back.

For collectors, this is a less common vintage Aalborg BK shirt connected directly to the club’s 1999 championship, one of only four Danish league titles AaB have won.
