L’Hospitalet even equalised at 1-1 before Zaragoza eventually pulled away to win 5-1, making this a very specific shirt from a single cup chapter.

The first thing that makes this shirt special is that most 2024/25 L’Hospitalet shirts didn’t look like this commercially. Their standard Hummel home design was carried over from the previous season, but for the Copa del Rey the club produced a dedicated version featuring TECNOFIRMES prominently across the front.

It appeared for the first-round tie against Real Zaragoza on 29 October 2024 and the timing gave it an extra piece of history. This was L’Hospitalet’s 50th appearance in a Copa del Rey match.

For 14 minutes, the occasion looked like it might produce an upset. Zaragoza scored first, but Sanku Jabbie quickly made it 1-1 before the Segunda División side eventually took control and won 5-1. Because that defeat eliminated L’Hospitalet immediately, this special Copa configuration became tied to one very specific night rather than an entire season, exactly the kind of detail that makes a lower-league shirt far more interesting than it first appears.
