This away shirt was designed around The Haçienda, the legendary Manchester nightclub at the centre of the city’s late-80s and early-90s “Madchester” scene. The yellow shoulder stripes reference the club’s famous black-and-yellow graphic identity, while the peach and sky-blue details were added to recreate its colour palette. City later lifted the 2020 Carabao Cup at Wembley wearing this exact design.
