Lewandowski’s Barcelona story ended exactly how you’d expect: with a goal. In his final appearance for the club, away to Valencia in May 2026, he reacted quickest to redirect Ferran Torres’ volley into the net for Barça goal No. 120, the last of his four-year spell. He walked away as Barcelona’s 14th-highest scorer of all time, making this the shirt from the final chapter of Lewandowski’s Barça career.

THE STORY BEHIND THE SHIRT

Lewandowski Scored His 120th (and Final) Barça Goal in This Shirt

By 2025/26, Lewandowski had already passed 100 Barcelona goals, but this shirt ended up becoming much more than just another season’s No. 9. In May 2026 he announced that his fourth year at Barça would also be his last, closing a spell that had started when he arrived from Bayern Munich in 2022.

His final home game became a full farewell. Lewandowski was given the captain’s armband against Real Betis, thousands of No. 9 shirts filled the Camp Nou stands and he left the pitch to a standing ovation before receiving a guard of honour from his teammates.

Then came one final trip to Valencia. In his last ever Barça appearance, Lewandowski instinctively redirected Ferran Torres’ shot into the net for his 120th and final goal for the club. Four seasons, 120 goals and seven trophies later, the 2025/26 home shirt became the one in which one of Barcelona’s most prolific modern strikers signed off by doing the thing he had spent his entire career doing: scoring.
