For Catanzaro’s 2025/26 home shirt, EYE Sport looked beyond football and built the design around one of the city’s strongest local traditions.

The inspiration comes from Saint Vitaliano, Catanzaro’s patron saint. The repeated pattern is based on embroidery found on his mantle, while the collar references the way the garment is fastened. Even the words printed along the hem come from a prayer connected to the saint, centred on having the strength to keep moving forward. 

That makes the shirt feel genuinely tied to Catanzaro rather than created from a generic template. The details only make complete sense once you know the city, its religious tradition and why Saint Vitaliano matters locally.

There is also a useful modern collector feature: the shirt carries an NFC tag and an internal certification label designed to distinguish supporter versions from shirts supplied to players.
