Benzema Scored the Winner the Night Madrid Wore This Mint Kit at Sevilla

This mint-green third shirt is very tied to Karim Benzema’s 2019/20 season. One of the clearest examples came at Sevilla, where Madrid actually wore this kit and Benzema scored the decisive goal. In the 64th minute, Carvajal crossed from the right and Benzema headed home to secure a 1-0 away win.

That season ended up being one of the most important of his Madrid career. After football resumed following the COVID break, Real Madrid won 10 league games in a row to take the title and Benzema finished as the club’s leading league scorer with 21 goals.

He was later awarded the Alfredo Di Stéfano Trophy as La Liga’s best player for 2019/20.
