Fernando Torres arrived at Chelsea in January 2011 in one of the biggest transfers in Premier League history. Chelsea paid a reported £50 million to take him from Liverpool, where he had been one of the league’s most feared strikers.

His first months at Stamford Bridge were difficult. Torres went 903 minutes and 13 appearances without scoring before finally getting his first Chelsea goal against West Ham in April.

A month later, he started Chelsea’s final match of the season at Everton wearing this black-and-orange away design. Chelsea lost 1-0 and, barely an hour later, Ancelotti was dismissed, making it the final shirt of his Chelsea reign.
