Badalona’s goalkeeper story in 2023/24 was pretty unusual: Carlos Craviotto was 40 when the season began and still started all 37 of the club’s recorded competitive matches. He played 3,330 minutes (literally every minute) as Badalona finished fourth and went all the way to the promotion play-off final. That makes a goalkeeper shirt from this season a nice piece from a campaign built around one seriously durable veteran.

THE STORY BEHIND THE SHIRT

Badalona’s 40-Year-Old Goalkeeper Played Every Minute of Their Promotion Push

Goalkeeper shirts from lower-league clubs can be easy to overlook, but Badalona’s 2023/24 season gives this one a genuinely good story. Their first-choice keeper was Carlos Craviotto, who was already 40 when he joined and had been playing senior football for years across the Catalan and Valencian leagues.

He then did something even more impressive: Craviotto started all 37 competitive matches recorded for Badalona that season and played 3,330 minutes, exactly 37 full games. During the spring run, local coverage repeatedly highlighted his saves as Badalona built a five-match winning streak and secured their place in the promotion positions.

The season eventually took them to the promotion play-off final against L’Hospitalet, with Craviotto still starting in goal. This No. 25 cannot be linked to him specifically, but as a goalkeeper shirt from that campaign, it comes from a year when Badalona relied almost completely on one veteran keeper, which makes the whole goalkeeper range from the season a lot more interesting to collect.
