Palermo’s pink shirts have always stood apart, but this 1991/92 design might be one of the cleanest versions the club ever wore.

ABM combined the bright pink body with a black fold-over collar, small striped details around the neckline and the large blue Seleco sponsor.

The season itself was difficult. Palermo had just returned to Serie B but finished near the bottom and were relegated again. What makes the shirt’s story interesting is how little that affected the city’s support. Palermo averaged almost 18,000 spectators at home, the second-highest attendance in the entire division and more than several clubs fighting for promotion.
