The Goalkeeper Shirt From West Ham’s First London Stadium Match

The 2016/17 season was West Ham’s first after leaving the Boleyn Ground and moving into the London Stadium. Their first competitive match there came against Slovenian side Domžale in Europa League qualifying.

Darren Randolph started in goal as West Ham won 3-0, keeping the first competitive clean sheet at their new home. Cheikhou Kouyaté scored twice before Sofiane Feghouli completed the win.

Randolph later became West Ham’s regular Premier League goalkeeper during the same season, making 22 league starts. This orange Umbro design therefore belongs to the campaign that opened the London Stadium chapter of West Ham history.
