This RCD Espanyol 2023/24 away shirt carries Martin Braithwaite’s number 22 from the season the club earned promotion back to La Liga.

Braithwaite scored 22 goals across the 42-match regular season, the highest total in the Segunda División and his best scoring campaign for Espanyol. Nine came during the first half of the season and 13 during the second.

Espanyol finished fourth before defeating Sporting Gijón and Real Oviedo in the promotion play-offs. A 2–0 victory over Oviedo in the final second leg completed a 2–1 aggregate win and returned the club to the top flight one year after relegation.
