The Shirt That Won Rangers Their 50th Title

This shirt comes from one of the tightest title races Rangers have ever played. Going into the final day, Rangers and Celtic were level on points and goal difference, with Rangers ahead only because they had scored one extra goal.

Rangers then beat Dunfermline 6–1 at Ibrox while Celtic won 4–0 at Kilmarnock. That left Rangers champions by a single goal of goal difference, the kind of ending where every goal across two different stadiums mattered.

It was also their 50th top-flight league title, making Rangers the first club in the world to reach that number. Afterward, five stars were added above the shirt crest, one for every ten league championships.

The season became even bigger when Rangers also won the League Cup and Scottish Cup, completing the seventh domestic treble in the club’s history.
