Morata’s Goals at the King Power

This Chelsea 2017/18 away shirt comes from Álvaro Morata’s first season at Stamford Bridge.

Morata joined Chelsea from Real Madrid and was given the number 9 shirt. He scored 15 goals in all competitions, including two while wearing this white away design at Leicester’s King Power Stadium.

In September, Morata headed Chelsea in front during a 2–1 Premier League victory over Leicester. He returned to the same stadium in March and scored again in the FA Cup quarter-final. Chelsea won 2–1 after extra time and later defeated Manchester United at Wembley to lift the trophy.

The shirt also marked the beginning of Chelsea’s partnership with Nike. Its white base was given a subtle silver tone as a reference to the club’s collection of trophies, with blue details maintaining Chelsea’s traditional identity.

With Morata’s official number 9 and direct connections to two goals at the King Power, this original away shirt represents his strongest season in English football.
