This shirt comes from a season when Badalona made another serious push for promotion. After reaching the territorial play-off final in 2023/24, they did it again in 2024/25, beating Atlètic Lleida before facing Girona B in the final round. That gives this clean Soka home shirt a nice bit of recent club history: it belongs to a period when Badalona were consistently getting close to moving back up.

THE STORY BEHIND THE SHIRT

Badalona Reached the Promotion Play-Off Final for the Second Year Running

Badalona’s 2024/25 home shirt arrived with a much cleaner look than the previous season: royal blue, a big white chevron and Soka taking over as manufacturer. The club finished fifth in Tercera Federación, but still earned a place in the promotion play-offs.

They got through the first tie against Atlètic Lleida, drawing 2-2 at home before winning 1-0 away. That put Badalona into the territorial final against Girona B, only a year after they had also reached the equivalent stage against L’Hospitalet in 2023/24.

Girona B eventually ended the run with a 3-1 win in Badalona before a 0-0 second leg. Still, that means this Soka home shirt comes from back-to-back seasons of promotion play-off football, a nice modern Badalona piece from a period when the club kept getting itself into the conversation for moving up.
