This home shirt comes from one of Badalona’s better recent seasons. They finished fourth in Tercera Federación, reached the promotion play-offs and got all the way to the final against L’Hospitalet. For a modern Badalona shirt, that gives this one a pretty nice place in the club’s timeline: it was worn during a season when promotion genuinely felt within reach.

THE STORY BEHIND THE SHIRT

Badalona Took This Shirt All the Way to the Promotion Play-Off Final

Badalona’s 2023/24 season gave this Luanvi home shirt a lot more meaning than the design alone suggests. The team finished fourth in Tercera Federación Group 5, enough to qualify for the promotion play-offs after a strong campaign.

They made it through the semi-finals and reached the play-off final against L’Hospitalet. The first leg in Badalona finished 1-1, leaving everything open going into the return.

The second leg stayed goalless through 90 minutes before L’Hospitalet scored in extra time to win 1-0 and end Badalona’s promotion push. So this blue home shirt comes from a season when the club got genuinely close to moving up, exactly the kind of context that makes a modern lower-league shirt much nicer to have in a collection.
