Celtic Won 5–4 and Still Got Knocked Out

Celtic went into the second leg against Partizan Belgrade needing to overturn a 2-1 defeat. What followed was absolute chaos at Celtic Park.

Dariusz “Jacki” Dziekanowski scored four goals and Celtic eventually won the match 5-4. But Partizan’s fourth goal meant the tie finished 6-6 on aggregate, sending Celtic out on the away-goals rule.

The shirt also belongs to the final seasons of Celtic’s original CR Smith sponsorship run, which lasted from 1984 until 1991. Even stranger, CR Smith had originally sponsored both Celtic and Rangers at the same time before continuing only with Celtic.
