The AdeS logo on this shirt belonged to an Argentine soy drink brand launched in 1988, a pretty unusual football sponsor even by 90s standards. This was the final season of AdeS’ original five-year run on Independiente shirts. On the pitch, César Luis Menotti’s side finished runners-up in the 1996 Apertura.
