Brazil 1991/93 Home (Large)

Brazil's 1991-93 home shirt comes from the years leading up to their fourth World Cup title. After being eliminated by Argentina at Italia '90, Brazil were rebuilding with a squad featuring established players like Careca, Bebeto and Dunga, alongside emerging names such as Cafu and Raí. Umbro became the national team's kit supplier in 1991, introducing a new range of shirts that would become closely associated with Brazilian football in the 1990s. This particular design was worn during the 1991 and 1993 Copa América tournaments, as well as the qualifiers for the 1994 World Cup. 

One of the most interesting matches from this period took place on 19 September 1993, when Brazil faced Uruguay at the Maracanã. Brazil needed at least a draw to guarantee their place at the 1994 World Cup. Romário, who had recently returned to the national team after a long absence, scored twice in the second half to secure a 2-0 victory. The result sent Brazil to the United States, where Romário and Bebeto would help the country win its first World Cup since 1970.
