Karim Adeyemi played a decisive role in Borussia Dortmund's Club World Cup round-of-16 victory over Monterrey. In the 14th minute, he combined with Serhou Guirassy to create the opening goal. Just ten minutes later, Adeyemi used his pace on the counterattack to set up Guirassy again. Dortmund won 2-1 and advanced to face Real Madrid.

The shirt was part of PUMA's collaboration with New York-based designer KidSuper, released specifically for the tournament. Its yellow base features black hand-drawn patterns, with honeycomb-inspired graphics across the shoulders and paint-like strokes rising from the bottom.
