Bohemians 2019 Home (Medium)

Bohemians entered the 2019 season with a young squad and relatively modest expectations. Under manager Keith Long, they brought in players including Danny Mandroiu, a young midfielder who had spent time at Brighton's academy. Mandroiu quickly became a favourite at Dalymount Park, scoring 11 league goals and producing some excellent performances, including a memorable winner against Dublin rivals Shamrock Rovers. Bohemians finished third in the league, securing a place in Europa League qualifying for the first time since 2012. The team also reached the FAI Cup semi-finals, where they were knocked out by Shamrock Rovers. 

The club was also attracting attention for its football culture. Ahead of the season, Bohemians had announced an away shirt featuring Bob Marley, who famously performed at Dalymount Park in 1980. The design had to be changed because of image rights issues, but the story brought international attention to the Dublin club. Meanwhile, home crowds were growing, with Dalymount selling out regularly throughout the season. This 2019 O'Neills home shirt comes from a particularly interesting year for Bohs, combining their return to European football with the club's growing reputation for creative football shirts and strong supporter culture.
