From Europe’s Last 16 to Czech Champions

This AC Sparta Praha 2003–05 away shirt comes from an important period for the most successful club in Czech football.

During the 2003/04 season, Sparta reached the Champions League knockout stage after progressing from a group containing Chelsea, Lazio and Beşiktaş. Their European run ended against defending champions AC Milan in the last 16. Sparta also finished the season by winning the Czech Cup.

The following year, the club became Czech champions. Sparta finished 11 points ahead of rivals Slavia Prague, while striker Tomáš Jun ended the league season as its leading scorer with 14 goals.

Made by Nike, this away shirt combines a white base with Sparta’s traditional claret colour across the sleeves and collar. The design is completed by the classic Eurotel sponsor and the club’s large central crest.

Connected to Champions League football, a domestic cup and the 2005 league title, this original Sparta Prague away shirt represents two successful seasons at Letná.
